Lindsay Lohan

Biography
Lindsay Morgan Lohan was born in New York City on July 2, 1986. Her mother Dina is a former Radio City "Rockette" while her father Michael was a long-time Wall Street trader before he struck it rich with a family pasta business. He has now redirected his energies into film development and producing.

Along with her three younger siblings, Michael, Aliana and Dakota, Lindsay Lohan was raised in Long Island. Lindsay was such a natural beauty that she began modeling at the age of 3. In fact, she was the first redheaded child ever signed by the renowned Ford Modeling Agency.

Why Is She Famous?
Aside from the numerous TV commercials she has appeared in, Lindsay Lohan played the twin sisters in the remake of The Parent Trap (1998), Jamie Lee Curtis' daughter in the remake of Freaky Friday (2003) and a wannabe popular girl in the sleeper hit, Mean Girls (2004). In 2005, she starred in another Disney flick, Herbie: Fully Loaded (2005), as well as Just My Luck (2006), I Know Who Killed Me (2007), and Georgia Rule (2007). Since 2007, she has completed one movie, Labor Pains, which will be released in the summer of 2009.

Despite praise from the critics for her acting abilities over the years, Lindsay Lohan's personal life seems to turn up in the tabloids and magazines more frequently than her film reviews. It's rumored that the actress, who is known for loving photo shoots, is looking to sign with a high profile modeling agency.

Lindsay Lohan also released a debut album called Speak in December 2004 and A Little More Personal in December 2005. She's on the cusp of working on her third album.

Success
A child model since the age of 3, Lindsay Lohan has been in more than 60 commercials for companies like Wendy's, Abercrombie & Fitch, Jell-O, Calvin Klein, Pizza Hut, and the Gap.

After an appearance on Late Show with David Letterman, Lindsay Lohan was cast as Alexandra "Alli" Fowler for one season of the popular soap opera Another World. Then, she won the dual part of the Hallie Parker/Annie James twins in the remake of Disney's The Parent Trap (1998).
Following a very brief gig in Bette Midler's sitcom Bette in 2000, she starred in Disney's television films Life-Size (2000) and Get a Clue (2002). She worked for "the mouse" again the next year, by appearing in the blockbuster Freaky Friday (2003) as Jamie Lee Curtis' daughter. Lindsay Lohan's song "Ultimate" can also be heard on the movie's soundtrack.

In 2004, she was seen in Confessions of a Teenage Drama Queen and Mean Girls. What's more, she was in the music video for Lillix's "What I Like About You."

Along with the many projects she had lined up for 2007 (Georgia Rule and I Know Who Killed Me), a true measure of Lindsay Lohan's fame is the amount of times she makes headlines. From her troubled family life to her relationships to her hard-partying ways (she finally completed rehab in October 2007 after several tries), Lindsay Lohan is a major tabloid star.

Sexiness
Lindsay Lohan is far from innocent. Magazines photo spreads like the ones in Movieline, Allure, Teen People, Popstar, and Vanity Fair, as well as her club-hopping lifestyle and stints in rehab prove that she is a wild child. Her relationship with DJ Samantha Ronson is always a hot topic with the tabloids.
As wild as she may be, however, Lindsay Lohan is hot, and she was voted No. 10 in FHM's 100 Sexiest Women, No. 3 in Maxim's 2006 Hot 100 list, and in 2007 she jumped to No. 1on Maxim's Hot 100.
